Here is the final render of my Santa hat model posed.

This was the second render I did after adjusting the length of the hairs on the red part and grooming the hairs to their desired position.

Once I had the hair splines added and coloured correctly, I then used this reference image to give me an idea of how I should groom the splines.

This was the first render test I did to see how everything looked.

Once I was happy with how the model moved I then created the textures for it.

After adjusting the influence each joint has on the mesh, you can now see how the bottom of the hat no longer moves when rotating the joints above it.

As you can see in this image, the bottom of the hat also moves when I bend the hat so I next need to adjust the weight paints.

I then slightly adjusted the height and look of the model to give it a more realistic look. Once I was happy with how it looked I then created a simple rig for it to allow it to bend and be animated when used in the episode.

I then put the hat on a Raptor to see what it would look like for size.
